I’m Sophie C, a sophomore in CS @ Cornell Engineering!
Bronx, NY - Ithaca, NYThis summer, I'm working as a research intern at Cornell Tech, deploying trash can robots in NYC to assess how people adapt to service robot errors, and in turn how feasibly a VLM can follow social norms.
On campus, I help develop autonomous battle bots at Combat Robotics @ Cornell, and TA Functional Programming in OCaml (CS 3110)!
I've done a mix of design-oriented work & technical, problem-solving initiatives, though I like to approach my work from a creative lens when I can.
I'm exploring web/app development on my own time, ranging from Swift to Svelte to simple CSS (& HTML & JS ... I wanted to keep the ess's coming).
I also appreciate art, alliteration, and watching police chases while I’m running.
